Colony feeding day and full cleaning and sterilizing of the litter boxes at home... fun! Tipsy and old lady kitty (not yet named) love wet food and cuddles. Tipsy is unsure of my cats but she'll warm up I'm sure.... slept the rest of the day because I'm exhausted.

Hoarder #2  female with pus coming from her vagina... because why would it be easy... Needed a emergency spay due to life threatening infection in the uterus. -8/10  She's stable now though.

2/7 horse and CH

Of course I wasn't taking no for a answer... that horse was in terrible shape, no shelter and so much stuff like toys and clothes in his pin... I called the sheriff and gave the owners number over to them. They got them to surrender the horse! Thank God. Chickens are also safe.  Took 14 cats off the property. 4 with me rest in fosters. Vet- cats stayed over night. Got tested for the usual all negative. Older cats had URI so they got antibiotics.  Now that teen cat that couldn't walk?? Diagnosed with CH  (cerebellar hypoplasia) wobbly cat syndrome. I mean... worse and better then I expect. Her name is now tipsy. Photo of tipsy. Super sweet. Definitely malnourished and under the weather but we'll get her better.

THE FUCK DID I GET MYSELF INTO kind of day... From hoarder #1 we got 14 cats all together. They were transferred to Pasado’s safe haven! Love them! They took all my photos and the body of the dead cat plus all 14 and are now trying to press charges on the women. Neglect, abandonment ect. Thank God....  Hoarder property #2! Why did I answer my phone that day 😭... I just got done with the first hoarder case this year....  13 chickens, 16 cats, a horse that is starving on and on and on.  Day 1- I took the sickest and oldest cats. 1 cat couldn't walk properly another said to be 20 years old... idk about that but okay.  I also brought food and water for the chickens and horse. Needed a plan for them. Called PSH again after they just left lol... they got me in contact with a horse rescue. Owner only signed over rights to the cats... Brought the cats I took into the vet-  called my rescue colleague for help with the rest.

Colony feeding day. We received enough donations for a few feeding which is fantastic! I feed around 300 feral/stray cats in Yakima wa food is always needed.

One of the cats from hoarder situation #1 died prior to my arrival.  We got 5 more cats from this site. I took them to my vet for medication. They were all INFESTED with fleas so much so, most cats didn't have a lot of fur and scabs everywhere and worms of course. 1 lost a eye. But other then that sweet cats just need some TLC.

2/2 yikes.

2/2...helped find a vet for this fella. he got emergency surgery to remove the eye.

Hoarding situation #1 eviction/abandonment.  A women and her 3 kids lived here with give or take 15 cats. When evicted said women threw all the cats outside (they were indoor only) so they were terrified. Day 1 I and my foster got 7 of these cats.
